Chris Kellermeyer is a Hoosier native who grew up in Fortville, Indiana, and has spent more than three decades investing his life in the health and mission of the local church. With over 32 years of full-time ministry experience, Chris brings a pastor’s heart, a strategist’s mindset, and a deep commitment to cooperation for the sake of the gospel.

He studied at Purdue University and Trinity Baptist College before serving in the U.S. Air Force, where he was stationed in Ramstein, Germany—an experience that shaped his appreciation for culture, leadership, and global mission. Chris has pastored churches in both Florida and Indiana and has been directly involved in establishing new churches in each state.

Beyond the local church, Chris has provided trusted leadership across Indiana Baptist life. He has served as Moderator of the East Central Baptist Association and as Chairman of the Camp Committee for Highland Lakes Camp on the Executive Board of the State Convention of Baptists in Indiana. Most recently, he served as a Send City Missionary for Indianapolis with NAMB, where he helped lead church planting efforts across the metro area and coached pastors and planters at every stage of ministry.

As the Associational Mission Strategist, Chris believes thriving pastors and united churches are essential for effective gospel witness in a changing culture—and he works to ensure that no church or leader has to serve alone.

Chris has been married to his wife, Paula, for 42 years. They have four children and eight grandchildren—something he’s always glad to talk about. Outside of ministry, he enjoys art, theater, and a good cup of Starbucks coffee.
